Gotham is a Batman prequel TV series that has been running since 2014. Gotham follows the people of Gotham City before Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, and focuses on James Gordon’s early years as an officer in Gotham City Police Department. It also touches on the origins of some other major characters who are well known to comic book fans. The show airs on FOX network and has aired five seasons to date.

Gotham is an American crime television series that was developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters appearing in and published by DC Comics in their detective comic book franchise.
