In France, the legend of the chanson, singer and actress Juliette Greco, died. She died on the age of 93 on Wednesday 23 September. Greco’s stage profession lasted over seventy years.
In the late Thirties, Greco carried out as a dancer on the Paris Opera Garnier. During the Second World War, she was an energetic participant within the Resistance motion. Her profession as a singer flourished within the post-war interval. Greco’s first disc “I Am As I Am” was launched in 1951 and have become a basic of French chanson. Songs for her had been written, specifically, by Charles Aznavour. By the mid-Fifties, Juliette Greco grew to become the primary French pop star.

In the early Fifties, Greco started her profession in movie. She starred within the movies Orpheus, The Sun Also Rises, The Night of the Generals, Belphegor – the Ghost of the Louvre and different movies.
Greco launched her final disc in 2012. And in 2015, the singer, on the age of 88, made her farewell tour “Thank you”, acting on levels in France and overseas. Then she acknowledged that her need was “to go away with out bending, as elegantly as doable.”
