Honor will soon launch a V40 smartphone series. According to the leak, the upcoming V40 smartphone series is going to be a major upgrade of the V30 series, which was launched in 2019. Prior to the official release, the specifications of the Honor V40 series have leaked online. Specifications leaked by RODENT950 (via Gizmochina) will release the V40 Pro and V40 Pro Plus as part of the Honor smartphone series.
The report states that the V30 series includes the V30 and V30 Pro. So far, there is no information about the vanilla V40 version. According to the report, the Honor V40 series will have a 6.72-inch full HD + curved display. Which will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The report states that the V40 Pro MediaTek Dimension will run on 1000+ processors while the V40 Pro Plus will run on Huawei’s in-house Kirin 9000 processor.

According to the report, the V40 series will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor, called the Sony IMX700 RYYB lens. The upcoming smartphone is also said to come with 66W supercharged charging support. It can also support 40W wireless charging. Other leaked features of the V40 series include 5G support, dual-SIM, stereo speakers and USB Type-C port.

A recent report claimed that Huawei is selling its Honor smartphone business. According to reports, the Chinese handset company is in talks with Digital China Group Co. Ltd. and others to sell the Honor smartphone unit, which could carry up to 25 billion yuan.
