Sanket Deepak Bhosale, better known as Sanket Bhosale is an Indian comedian, mimicry artist, actor, and doctor who works in the Hindi TV industry. He is best known for his mimicry of the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

Sanket Bhosale was born on Monday, 9 May 1988 (age 33 years; as of 2021) in Mumbai. His zodiac sign is Taurus.

He did his schooling at Mumbai’s Guru Nanak English High School and Junior College of Commerce. Born into a family of doctors, Sanket decided to pursue his graduation in medical science. He is an MBBS with a specialisation in Dermatology (a branch of medicine dealing with the skin).

Sanket was inclined towards acting since childhood and desired to become an actor. He used to entertain people around him from a very young age. While in school, Sanket used to imitate his school teachers and entertain his classmates. In his college days, he started imitating Bollywood actors. Career

Sanket started his career as a stand-up comedian in 2012 by participating in Life OK’s show “Laugh India Laugh.” He was among the top 10 finalists of the show.

In 2013, he started working at 92.7 BIG FM. Subsequently, he appeared in comedy shows like “Gangs of Haseepur” (2014), “Comedy Ka Rocket” (2015), “Super Night with Tubelight” (2017), “The Drama Company” (2017), and “Gangs of Filmistaan” (2020).

  I write mostly my own short-form skits and enact them. The audience reaction serves as a motivation for more and fresher content ideas.”

• Sanket had an emotional meeting with his icon Sanjay Dutt on a comedy show. Recalling his first meeting with Sanjay, Sanket says,
  

  I will cherish that moment for life. I received so much warmth from him. I just couldn’t stop crying and Sanju Baba in his signature style asked me, ‘Kyun ro raha hai mamu?’ I told him that I have been a fan since childhood and he replied, ‘Bachpan mein tu mera fan, bada hokar main fan hoon tera’.”

• He created a YouTube page titled ‘Sanket Bhosale’ on 24 February 2009. Sanket posts his comedy and mimicry videos on the channel. The channel has more than 437K subscribers as of 2021.

•  It was Sanket Bhosale who trained Ranbir Kapoor to adopt the style and mannerisms of Sanjay Dutt for his Bollywood film “Sanju” (2018).

  Jaise hota hai na do pyaar karne walon ke beech zamana aa jata hai, vaise corona aa chuka hai. It’s a complete filmy scene out here. In fact, we were trying (to get married) last year too, but we had to postpone it because of Covid. Now the second wave is here, but how much more can we delay. But we are following all the norms set by the government.”
