In the small Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh, Yashasvi, who dreamed of becoming a cricketer at just ten years old, reached Mumbai and stayed at his relative’s house. Yashaswi’s childhood was very struggling. Here Yashaswi’s uncle Santosh had a house in Worli, but it was difficult for him to accommodate a child. After this, Yashsavi started living in a dairy, but Yashsavi used to sleep after being exhausted all day. In such a situation, the owner expelled him from the dairy located at Kalbadevi. Yashswi’s Uncle Santosh was a manager in the Muslim United Club and requested the owner to arrange Yashaswi’s stay in the room of the club’s tent. Here Yashasvi shared a room of tents with the groundsmen (ground workers) for three years. He himself was forced to work with the vendors of water-puris and fruits during Ramlila at Azad Maidan to cook his own food and to raise the resources needed. There have also been days when he had to sleep without eating food.
However, with this innings, young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal became the third batsman to score a double century in the prestigious Vijay Hazare Trophy on Wednesday. Jaiswal is the second batsman to score a double century in the current tournament. Earlier, wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson made history by scoring an unbeaten 212 against Goa while playing for Kerala. Sanju Vijay Hazare is the highest run-scorer in a match of the tournament.
