Trump, who was constantly active on Twitter, was suspended for 12 hours following Thursday’s violence after which he became active again but was later permanently suspended after reviewing his tweet. It was said that Trump had announced in a tweet that he would not attend the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of the country, Joe Biden. Biden will be sworn in as the next President of the United States on January 20.
In that tweet, Trump had indicated that he may have accepted the transfer of power after violence and bloodshed in the US Parliament, but he is still protesting about the election results. Trump has alleged that the election was rigged and that is why Biden won.
