A trust has also been created for the mosque to be replaced by the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. This trust has been created by the Sunni Central Waqf Board. The 9-member trust will have Waqf Board chairman Zufar Farooqi as chairman and Athar Hussain as secretary. In the Ayodhya dispute case, the Supreme Court had ordered that the government give 5 acres of land to build a second mosque in place of Babri Masjid. The government had given a government land on the highway leading to Ayodhya to the Sunni Central Waqf Board. Today, a trust has been announced to build the mosque.
