Fatehpur Beri police station in Delhi has arrested the accused woman along with her son and daughter in the case of theft in a jewelery shop in Chhatarpur area on December 25. This family has a criminal history and all members are of criminal tendency. The woman was arrested in 2013 in a case of murder and kidnapping. Her two other sons are jailed in cases of murder, robbery, snooping and theft. At the same time, the police is also looking for two other sons and husband of the woman in other cases.
The accused woman Mithilesh, along with her daughter Durgeshwari and son Chirag, carried out the theft incident in the jewelery shop. The stolen jewels have been recovered from the accused. Mithilesh had earlier been jailed in 2013 for murder and kidnapping.

DCP (South) Atul Kumar Thakur said that on 25 December, Shambhudayal of Chhatarpur Enclave had complained that two women came to his jewelery shop and stole a box of 50 grams of gold earrings on the pretext of seeing. When the police examined the CCTV footage, it was found that the women had come to the shop with a red colored scooty. After this, the police identified the accused and arrested the accused woman and her son-daughter from Madangir.
15 km chased through CCTV footage
The police officer said that after pursuing the accused for about 15 km with the help of CCTV camera, it was revealed that she had crossed the border from Scooty to Sikandarpur in Gurugram. After this, the police arrested the accused from the F-block of Madangir with the help of Scooty’s number and local informers.
