The prequel to Willy Wonka, the famous chocolatier imagined by Roald Dahl, is finally clear! The potential actors who could play the character have also been revealed.

Willy Wonka, the eccentric chocolatier, is making his comeback! The prequel on the character, in preparation for many years, finally gives his news. The Warner Bros. studio has revealed that the film will premiere on March 17, 2023 in the United States. As a reminder, Paul King, the director of Paddington, will be at the helm of the film entitled Wonka who will look back on the character’s youth before he became the greatest chocolate maker in the world.

The character first appeared in Charlie and the chocolate factory, novel published in 1964 by Roald Dahl, then in 1972 in Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. He was then portrayed on screen as Gene Wilder in 1972 and Johnny Depp in 2005.
