Suresh Raina to set up cricket academy in Jammu and Kashmir

Suresh Raina, a former player of the Indian cricket team, after signing an agreement with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Committee said that he played for India for 15 years and now he wants to give this experience back to the players of Jammu and Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Committee on Tuesday signed an agreement with Raina’s ‘Suresh Raina Cricket Academy’ to promote the talent of young players in the state.

Regarding the deal, Raina said in a press conference held in Jammu that we will go to the ground level to find talented players and make them good cricketers. I have played for India for 15 years and now I want to give this experience back to Jammu and Kashmir. He also thanked State Governor Manoj Sinha for taking such steps to find talented players.

He said that the players are already very fit due to the good talent of Jammu and Kashmir and the different weather conditions here. Raina said that young players should capitalize on such opportunities and he would be very happy if a player from Jammu and Kashmir represents the country in cricket.
