Life is not as easy as it seems, but we can make it easier with emotions and courage. You can pass every exam with top marks. Whether the exam is for life or for studies, it seems difficult to every ordinary person, but when you are struggling with yourself and then insist on coming first in the exam, then do something like the 16-year-old from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Safia Javed did.
In fact, Safia has been battling tuberculosis (TB) for 5 years. Due to this she has difficulty in breathing so she uses an oxygen cylinder. Safia is a student of 10th class and she did not let her illness get in the way of her studies and fought like a warrior by putting oxygen cylinder to the test.
Says Himmat-e-Marda, Te Madad-e-Khuda, this thing proved to be true of Safia. Safia is not happy after the result came. Safia’s hard work has paid off. She has passed the board exam from the first division with 69 percent marks. Safia has 82 marks in art, 77 marks in English and 68 marks in social sciences.
Times Of India According to, Safia said,
My parents always supported me and believed in me. I am very happy today that I lived up to the expectations of my parents.
On the other hand, Safia’s father Sarwar Javed, who works in a private firm in Noida, saw Safia’s passion and took leave from his job and took her for an examination.
It is my daughter’s passion for studies that gave her the courage to take exams even after her illness. It was only after gall bladder surgery that his health began to deteriorate, then he was diagnosed with TB, although his condition had improved due to treatment at a private hospital. But then he got pulmonary TB, which often causes his lungs to fill with water. For this he has to use an oxygen cylinder.
There should be courage and courage like Safia in everyone and if this courage ever falters, then one must remember that poem of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, ‘Those who try never give up’.
