Rajasthan lockdown: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot announces various activities to be banned till May 3

The Chief Minister said that in order to control this, all workplaces, commercial establishments and markets across the state should be closed in the public discipline fortnight starting Monday (April 19). Also, keeping in mind the convenience of common people and the continuous availability of essential services and goods, some activities will be free from restrictions.

The Chief Minister said that wearing masks is an essential preventive measure to prevent the spread of Kovid-19. In order to implement this strictly, action should be taken against the people who do not wear masks in public places and work places.

According to the guidelines issued late Sunday night by the Principal Government Secretary Home Abhay Kumar, in continuation of the weekend curfew imposed in the state on April 16 from April 19 (Monday) to five in the morning to May 3 (Monday) in the morning. A fortnight will be celebrated, in which all workplaces, business establishments and markets will remain closed.

According to the order issued during this period, the state personnel associated with the district administration, home, finance, police, jail, home guard, electricity, water, essential services will be allowed with appropriate identity cards. The offices and institutions related to the essential services of the central government will be allowed. People coming from bus stand, railway, metro station and airport will be allowed to travel on showing travel tickets.

According to the guidelines issued, it will be mandatory for travelers coming to the state to show the RT PCR test report done within the last 72 hours of starting the journey. Food and groceries, mandya fruits and vegetables, dairy and milk, animal feed related retail, wholesale shops will be allowed to open till five in the evening. Vegetables and fruit carts, cycle rickshaws, auto rickshaws, mobile vans can be sold till seven in the evening.

At the same time, the traffic of inter-state and intra-state transport vehicles, the loading and unloading of goods and the person employed for this work will be allowed. Dhabas and vehicle repair shops operating on national and state roads will be allowed. During this time, all ration shops will be open without any holiday.

According to the guidelines, telecom, internet services, postal services, courier facilities, broadcast and cable services, IT and IT related services, banks, ATMs and insurance offices will be allowed for banking services.

At the same time, processed food, sweets and confection, home delivery by restaurants will be allowed till 8 pm. The services of retail, wholesale outlets related to LPG, petrol pumps, CNG, petroleum and gas will be allowed till 8 pm.

To prevent the exodus of the working class, it will be allowed to work in all the industries and manufacturing related units.

The identity card will be issued by the concerned unit to the authorized person so that there is convenience in the movement.
