Phoebe Robinson is an American stand-up comedian, New York Times best-selling writer, and actress who struck stardom by co-hosting the hit podcast turned TV show “2 Dope Queens.” She is also known for hosting the critically-acclaimed podcast ‘Sooo Many White Guys’ featuring exclusive interviews with women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ community. She gained immense recognition for her books You Can’t Touch My Hair (2016), Other Things I Still Have to Explain (2016), and Everything’s Trash (2018).
Phoebe Robinson was born on Friday, September 28, 1984 (age 36 years; as of 2020), in Bedford, Ohio, United States. She did her schooling at Gilmour Academy, Ohio. In 2002, she pursued a course in screenwriting at Pratt Institute in New York City. After completing her formal education, she started working as a receptionist at New Line Cinema, New York. Later, she got promoted to the position of assistant to the head of New Line Cinema’s indie company, Picture House. Although during her college days, she was an active member of the improv group, stand-up comedy wasn’t her forte until 2008, when a friend urged her to take stand-up comedy lessons at Carolines School of Comedy in New York City.
