Career

In 2010, he debuted as an actor in the Malayalam film ‘College Days’ in which he played the role of Parangandi. He has acted in various Malayalam films including ‘Husbands in Goa’ (2012), ‘Ithihasa’ (2014), ‘Angry Babies in Love’ (2014), ‘Utopiayile Rajavu’ (2015), ‘Sherlock Toms’ (2017), and ‘Uriyadi’ (2020).

 

He is a well-known comedian in South India. He gained immense popularity with his debut comedy show ‘Comedy Stars’ (2011). He has appeared in various TV comedy shows including ‘Comedy Utsavam’ (2016), ‘Comedy Masala’ (2018), ‘Nalla Best Family’ (2019), and ‘Lockdown Please’ (2020).

He has acted in a few Malayalam short films such as ‘Ennu Swantham Madhumathi’ (2015) and ‘Halwa’ (2016).

He has appeared in various episodes of the YouTube web-series ‘The Premier Padmini’ (2020-2021). He participated in the TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss Malayalam 3’ in 2021.

Facts/Trivia

• In an interview, he shared that he was paid Rs. 25 for his first comedy show. He further said,

I along with three of my friends got a chance to perform for an Onam celebration when the assigned team didn’t turn up after committing for the show. We walked through the field and performed there. I remember that they didn’t let us go alone at night and we stayed there after the programme.”
