All 20 players and support staff from New Zealand and West Indies, who took part in the Indian Premier League, were found negative in the second investigation of the Kovid-19 ahead of the T20 International series starting on November 27 on Thursday. The group, which returned from the UAE on 14 November to participate in the recently concluded Indian Premier League, was investigated by Kovid-19.

New Zealand Cricket tweeted, “The second of three Kovid-19 trials of 10-10 players and support staff from New Zealand and West Indies living in Quarantine has come on negative.” In the case of ‘Bio-Bubble’, they can join their fellow players.

New Zealand Cricket tweeted, “The last test of both the groups will be on the 12th day and they will be able to come out of the quarantine on 26 November Thursday only if the result is negative.

Seven players took part in the IPL, including West Indies T20 International captain Kieron Pollard. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and fast bowler Trent Boult were part of the IPL but have not been included in the T20 squad.
