This Monday (29), Wiko made its new entry-level smartphone official to the European market. The French-Chinese manufacturer is already known for launching mobile phones with prices considered to be lower.
THE Y61 it arrives with a large screen, but input hardware and with the Android 10 Go version embedded, to have optimized applications when running on this simpler device. Check out the highlights:
Visual and interface
With a 6-inch IPS LCD screen and plastic body finish, the device has a panel format in the old molds: 18: 9 ratio, without notch and with large edges in the upper portions – where the camera for selfies is – and bottom.
At the rear, the module where the main sensor and the flash is located in the upper left corner. The speaker, on the other hand, is positioned in the lower cover. In addition, there is no biometric reader on this notebook.
Its system interface comes with two customizations: Wiko Launcher and Simple Mode. The latter is for less experienced users.
In its main configurations, the Wiko Y61 comes equipped with the MediaTek 6761WE chipset, GPU IMG PowerVR GE8300, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
For photo capture, the smartphone has only an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front lens. The main components complete the 3,000 mAh battery and Android 10 Go as an operating system.

Price and availability
The model reached the Italian market in three colors: gray, green and gold. It will be available for purchase only from July, for the price of € 89.99 (~ R $ 545). The package includes a transparent cover and a tempered glass film.
