Laxmii is 2020 Indian horror and comedy movie and is the remake of Tamil’s 2011 film Kanchana. It was scheduled to release on May 22nd, 2020 but postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic. The story revolves around Asif who does not believe in ghosts. His life takes a turning point when he finds himself possessed by a transgender ghost.

Alteration in Laxmii bomb title

The initial title of the movie was Laxmii bomb. On October 29th, 2020, a legal notice sent to filmmakers to change the name of the movie because it is disrespectful to write a bomb with the name of the Goddess. Now the movie is released under the title Laxmii.
