Harivansh Rai Bachchan got married due to this condition
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya started liking each other. In an Instagram post, Amitabh Bachchan says that after the success of ‘Zanjeer’ in 1973, he wanted to celebrate it by going to London with Jaya and his other friends. However, Amitabh’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan put a condition in front of him. When he came to know that Amitabh wants to go to London, Harivansh Rai asked, “With whom do you want to go?” When Amitabh took Jaya’s name, he immediately said, ‘You get married first and go after it. You can’t go without it. ‘ Now obviously Amitabh could not avoid his father’s point. Thus on June 3, 1973, Jaya and Amitabh made seven rounds.
