Amidst the state’s allegations and the Center’s reply, PM Modi said in his address on Thursday evening that India is producing the vaccine to its full potential and will be given to the states as per the requirement. Expressing concern over the fast-growing corona virus infection in the country, PM Modi said on Thursday that it is necessary to work again on a war footing to prevent the spread of infection, with the Chief Ministers to review the status of corona infection in the country. Later in his address, the PM said that the country had won the battle with Kovid-19 without vaccines last year, so there is no need to be afraid today. The second big concern is that now doctors are also coming under the grip of Corona. After dozens of doctors got infected at KGM University in Lucknow, now reports of 37 doctors have also been positive in Sir Gangaram Hospital.   1. 56,286 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra on Thursday, taking the total number of infections in the state to 32,29,547. With this, the death toll in the state rose to 57,028 due to the death of 376 more people. Apart from this, 6,570 new infections have been reported in Karnataka, 4,276 in Tamil Nadu, 4,021 in Gujarat, 3,119 in Punjab and 2,872 in Haryana.

  2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address yesterday that we have exceeded the highest speed of Corona last year. This time the growth rate of cases is faster than before. Many states including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have also crossed the “peak” of the first wave. Some other states are also moving towards this. This is a matter of concern for all of us. The Prime Minister said that this time people have become a lot more careless than before and in most of the states the administration also seems to be sluggish.

  3. PM Modi said that despite all these challenges, the country has better experience and better resources available than before. He said, “Along with public participation, our hard working doctors and health workers have helped a lot in handling the situation and are still doing it today.

  4. The Prime Minister said that this time there are many cases which are without symptoms, so the administration will have to speed up the investigation by showing hyperactivity. He said, “The more we discuss about vaccines, the more focus is on investigation. We should not take the investigation lightly. In any case, we have to increase it and bring the positive rate below five percent.

  5. After PM Modi’s address, a night curfew was ordered to be implemented in Bengaluru and 6 districts in Karnataka. This night curfew will be from 10 to 5 in the night. According to the order, this curfew will be effective from Saturday night and will continue till April 20. As per the order of Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, curfew will be imposed in Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Tumkuru and Udupi-Manipal besides capital Bengaluru. “Essential services will continue.

  6. Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Governor Manoj Sinha ordered a night curfew in urban areas of eight districts, including Jammu and Srinagar, to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

  7. This night curfew will be effective from today. This curfew will be effective from 10 am to 6 am. According to the order, night curfew will be applicable in Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Anantnag and Kupwara.

  8. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has already demanded the state to provide one week of required vaccines and reduce the GST rate on medicines and equipment used in the treatment of corona virus infection.

  9. Night curfew has been imposed in two districts of Uttar Pradesh adjoining Delhi in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad in view of increase in Kovid-19 cases.

  10. On an average 34,30,502 doses of anti-Kovid-19 vaccines are being given every day in India, with which the country has reached the first position worldwide in terms of the number of vaccines applied daily.
