CLAT Examination 2021: The Consortium of National Law Universities has changed the CLAT 2021 exam date on Wednesday. The CLAT 2021 exam was earlier scheduled to be held on May 9 from 3 pm to 5 pm at exam centers across the country. But now according to the revised schedule, the CLAT 2021 exam will be held on 13 June 2021 from 2 to 4 pm. A notice regarding this decision has been uploaded on the official website.

According to the notice, the CLAT 2021 exam date has been changed due to a clash from the CBSE board examination announced last week. The CLAT exam will now be held on 13 June.

“The executive committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on 6 January 2021 to consider rescheduling the CLAT 2021 exam date due to a clash with the CBSE board exam schedule announced last week,” the official statement said. “

The notice further stated, “The date of CLAT 2021 has been rescheduled from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm on Sunday 13 June 2021. The UG and LLM exam will be held on this day.”

What is a CLAT?
Common law admission test is a national level entrance exam. Through this exam, admission is given in Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) Law Courses. 22 law universities in the country offer this course. In November 2019, the Consortium of National Law University announced a change in the CLAT exam and the pattern of questions. The candidates taking the exam will now have to take 150 questions instead of 200.
