Chhath Puja 2020: The four-day ritual of the Mahaparva Chhath Puja of faith is concluded today with the offering of Arghya to the rising sun. The Vratis celebrating Chhath Puja prayed vigorously to the Sun to maintain their grace after observing a 36-hour Nirjala fast. Before this, on the evening of 20 November, Vratis offered Arghya to Asthachalagami Sun. Devotees prayed for the early rising of the Sun God overnight.

Today sunrise is 6:11 am in Patna, Bihar. In Delhi, the sun will rise at 6:49 am on Saturday. People in UP, Bihar and Jharkhand, including Delhi-NCR, were seen waiting for Suryadev to rise.
