The 2020-21 session of the Diploma in Elementary Education (DLAD), compulsory for teaching in government primary and pre-secondary schools, may be zero in the Corona period. The training for the new session should have started in July, but despite the passage of four months, the admissions process has not started. The results of graduation have not been announced in many universities of the state, so the admission process is not likely to start soon. In UP, only the graduate pass candidates can take admission in DLAd (formerly nicknamed BTC). DLAD has 226200 seats in government and private colleges. The admission process starts in May every year and the session starts from July after completing all the formalities in two months. According to examination regulatory authority office sources, almost a semester's time has passed and the admission process has not started yet. Now even if you apply online, then the admission will not be completed before January-February. By then, the next season will be the entry time. In such a situation, there is a possibility of zero session. However, this decision has to be taken by the government. Therefore, the unemployed are now giving priority to B.Ed instead of D.L.Ed.
