An online scam case has now come to light from Bengaluru. Deccan Herald According to the report of, what happened to 58-year-old Savita Sharma has made the Hindi idiom ‘Khaya piya kuch nahi, glass toda 12 aana’ come true.

Savita dialed the number given in the advertisement and expressed her desire to place an order. The person sitting on the other side of the phone asked Savita to pay Rs 10 in advance and said that Savita would have to pay the rest after the food was delivered.
