The role of a gangster in Delhi’s Tihar Jail is now being investigated in the case of an explosive-laden SUV car found in an abandoned condition outside Antilia, the Mumbai home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. A police official said that the guilty person has links with the underworld and has been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi for the past few days. On February 27, by creating an account on the Telegram app, a message was issued claiming to take responsibility for erecting a vehicle outside Ambani’s house. Investigations conducted with the help of a private cyber agency revealed that the Telegram account was created in Tihar. The gangster in Tihar was in touch with some people in Mumbai who have links with the underworld.
Telegram channel started on 26 February
On February 25, an explosive-laden Scorpio car was found lying in unclaimed condition outside Antilia, Mukesh Ambani’s home in South Mumbai. According to police sources, the channel was launched on the Telegram app on 26 February and the message that took responsibility for parking the vehicle outside Ambani’s house was posted on the app on the night of 27 February. The message demanded payment in crypto currency and a link was also given in it. The officer said that during the investigation it was found that the link was not available, after which the investigating officers suspected that someone had done this mischief.

Another message from Jaish-ul-Hind on the social media platform came on 28 February claiming that the organization had no role in the incident. Initially, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police started investigation in the case. This vehicle was with Mansukh Hiren. After Hiren’s death in suspicious circumstances, the case was transferred to the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). The NIA took up the task of investigation in the case of recovery of explosives laden vehicle on Monday 8 March.
