It’s 3 am and all you can think about is what to do with your life. You just feel empty and need some direction. We have all been there. Yes, life can get tough sometimes and we might feel lost, but there is always a way!
And I am here to present you with some strategies that will be the compass to your lost ship of life.
1. Take charge
This is the simplest yet, hard to follow advice. Most of the times when we are stuck in life, it is not because we don’t know what to do, but because we just don’t want to take action. Therefore, you need to know that you can’t wait for things to change, YOU have to change them! Knowingly put yourself in a position where there is no turning back. Take the risk and you may emerge a better person.

This doesn’t exactly sound life-changing, does it? But, you will be surprised how much it affects your mental health and thinking. Exercising helps your body to produce more positive hormones and this, in turn, lifts your mood and helps you in thinking clearly. With a happy and clear mind, it will be easier for you to navigate your way through life. So go for a jog in the park, and you may as well figure out your life!

3. Do Nothing
Sounds suspicious, doesn’t it? But sometimes in life, not thinking about your next move, makes all the difference. As long as you have a stable income and are not in any immediate danger, then this strategy can work miracles. Just go about your daily routine and try to find happiness in little things. After some time the answer will automatically come to you. Simple yet effective.

4. The 30 Day Challenge
It takes 21 days to create a habit and 90 days to create a lifestyle. The 30 Day challenge is a way to awaken your conscious mind and increase your productivity.
This will help you find some direction in your life. Write down 3 goals you want to achieve before the month ends. Then every day make sure you take certain steps to help achieve those goals. Achieving these goals will give you the confidence to keep going.

5. Check your constant habit
Introspect and try to figure out what has been one habit of yours that has been constant. What was the thing that you did out of sheer joy? Reflect and see whether this can be incorporated in any job and you can profit out of it. Re-visit that hobby of yours and try to perfect that skill. And you may as well have a bright path in front of you!

6. How can you make the world a better place?
A little weird and far fetched, but this question holds a dozen possibilities. You will need a lot of time to think and reflect upon this, but eventually, you will have a gap or two that you can fill. Something, that benefits the planet or even a fraction of it, will be amazing. Such a purpose will not only give you a direction but also satisfaction.

SO, it’s fine if you haven’t already got your life figured out. A lot of us don’t.
